Chadbourn is the old strawberry town in Columbus County, just west of Whiteville on Highway 74 — older homes, big lots, sheds and pack houses. Estate cleanouts and outbuilding cleanouts are most of what we do here.

Columbus County runs staffed recycling centers for residents, but the attendants will not help you unload, tables and entertainment centers must be taken apart first, and cabinets are not accepted at all — those go to the transfer station in Whiteville.
