We’re Paul and Shannon Drew — husband and wife, and the owners of Hoard Haulers. This company started the way a lot of good things start around here: with a pickup truck, a trailer, and a willingness to do the work nobody else wanted to do. It’s still the two of us behind everything — one of us on the truck, one of us making sure every booking, every price, and every promise on this website actually gets kept.
What we learned fast is that this business is almost never really about the junk. When somebody calls us, there’s usually a story on the other end of that phone. A family clearing out Mom’s house after the funeral, trying to hold it together while they decide what to keep. A widow who’s been staring at a garage she can’t empty by herself. A landlord who got left with a mess, a homeowner buried under a renovation, a family finally ready to deal with a hoarding situation they’ve been ashamed of for years.
Those aren’t hauling jobs. Those are people in the middle of a hard season. And how you show up for people in a hard season matters.
That’s why we do things the way we do them. We answer the phone when you call. We put every price on the website so you never wonder if you’re being taken advantage of. We show up when we said we would, we work carefully in your home, and we never, ever make anyone feel judged for what we’re hauling out. Your grandmother’s furniture gets carried, not thrown. Anything with life left in it goes to a local charity, not a landfill.
We run this company as Christians. Not the bumper-sticker kind — the kind that believes the way we treat you when you’re at your most overwhelmed is the truest thing about our faith. Jesus met people in their mess. The least we can do is meet you in yours, with a trailer and a good crew and an honest number.
Paul runs the crew and the trailer — the estates, the cleanouts, the heavy lifting, and the careful hands in your home. If Hoard Haulers hauled it, Paul was probably holding one end of it.
Shannon keeps every promise organized — bookings, commercial accounts, and the details that make an honest company actually run honestly. When things go smoothly, that’s her fingerprints.
Alongside Hoard Haulers, we run a ministry serving widows and the fatherless across our community — because Scripture doesn’t treat that as optional, and neither do we. We help however the need presents itself: physical needs like repairs, hauling, moving, and the heavy work that piles up when the person who used to do it is gone; emotional needs, like simply showing up, checking in, and being someone who stays; and spiritual needs, walking with people through grief toward hope.
This business and that ministry aren’t two separate things. The trailer that hauls your junk on Tuesday is the same trailer that helps a widow on Saturday.
