Terms of Service
Hoard Haulers LLC · North Myrtle Beach, SC · Last updated August 31, 2026
The short version: you pay half up front to lock in your slot, the other half when the job’s done. Cancel with more than 24 hours’ notice and your deposit comes back in full. Our prices are posted on the site — the number you book is the number you pay unless your pile is bigger than what you booked, and we’ll always tell you before we load a single item.
1. Who We Are
These terms cover services provided by Hoard Haulers LLC (“Hoard Haulers,” “we,” “us”), a junk removal and property cleanout company serving North Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand region of South Carolina. By booking our services — online, by phone, or in person — you agree to these terms.
2. Pricing
- Prices for individual items and trailer loads are published on our website and are the prices you’ll be charged. Posted surcharges (stairs, elevator buildings, long carries, rush and same-day service) and the curbside discount apply as described on our service pages.
- Stairs are priced per floor, per trailer load, based on job size: $25 per floor for a single item, $50 per floor for jobs up to a half load, and $75 per floor for three-quarter and full loads. Every online booking answers the stairs question at checkout, and the fee is shown in your total before you pay. If a job takes more than one trailer load, the stairs fee starts over with each additional load at that load’s rate.
- Load sizes are measured level with the trailer sides. Material heaped above the sides counts as the next size up. If your actual load is larger than what you booked, we’ll tell you the adjusted price before we start loading — you can accept it or decline at no charge.
- Heavy materials — dirt, concrete, brick, rock, sod, and shingles — are limited by weight rather than volume and are quoted separately.
3. Booking, Deposits & Payment
- Online bookings require a 50% deposit, processed securely by Stripe. Your card is saved to your booking, and the remaining balance is charged automatically when the job is completed, including any on-site adjustments you approved.
- We’ll confirm your date and two-hour arrival window by phone. If we’re running outside your window, we’ll call.
- Phone bookings may be invoiced or paid on site. We accept major cards; ask us about other payment options.
4. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds
- More than 24 hours before your arrival window: cancel for a full deposit refund, or reschedule free.
- Within 24 hours of your window: we’ve likely turned away other work to hold your slot, so deposits are refunded at 50%. Rescheduling instead of cancelling keeps your full deposit applied to the new date — your first reschedule is always free.
- No-show / no access: if we arrive and can’t reach you or can’t access the items, the deposit covers our trip and is not refunded.
- If we cancel — weather, equipment, or anything on our end — you choose: a full refund or priority rescheduling.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.
5. What We Can’t Take
We haul almost everything, but we’re not licensed for hazardous waste. We cannot take asbestos or suspected asbestos materials, medical or biohazard waste, gasoline or other fuels, or large quantities of paint, oils, or chemicals. Small household quantities of certain items (paint cans, propane tanks, household chemicals) are accepted as listed on our price list. When in doubt, call — if we can’t take it, we’ll point you to who can.
6. Curbside Pickups
The curbside discount applies when everything is outside at ground level, in one accessible spot, ready to load — no stairs, no carrying items out of the home, and nobody needs to be there. If items aren’t out when we arrive, the pickup converts to standard pricing.
7. Where Your Items Go
We sort every load: usable furniture and household goods go to local charities when they’ll accept them, metals and recyclables go to recycling, and the rest is disposed of properly. Donation receipts are provided when the receiving charity issues one — we can’t guarantee any particular item will be accepted for donation.
8. Our Crew, Your Property
We’re licensed and insured, and we treat your home like it’s ours — that includes estates and hoarding situations, which we handle with care and zero judgment. If you believe our crew damaged your property, tell us within 48 hours of the job and we’ll make it right. We may photograph loads and job sites for our records; we never publish photos that identify your home or address without permission.
9. Disputes
If anything about your charge looks wrong, call us first at (843) 861-8000 — we answer, and we fix honest mistakes fast. These terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the version posted here applies to new bookings. Questions? getquote@hoardhaulers.com or (843) 861-8000.
